Register Your Dog

Register your dog for Dog Park Mount Joy!  The park is now open and we want you and your dog to enjoy all the fun.

What Do You Need to Register?

• Registration is $50 per year for the first dog and $25 per year for each additional dog. You can register up to four dogs.
• You’ll need liability coverage. Your homeowner’s insurance likely covers this.  If you rent, you’ll need to check your policy. Alternatively, you can get a general liability policy from most insurance agents or online.
• You’ll need a Verification of Health Form from your vet for each dog.  If you plan to register online, you’ll want that scanned or in PDF format.  Paper works fine for offline Registration.

There are two ways to register your dog(s) for Dog Park Mount Joy.

Online Registration

• Use online registration if you’re comfortable with uploading files, scanning documents, and using PayPal.
• The online format provides a checklist of information you’ll need prior to starting, so that you don’t get surprised half-way through.

Offline Registration

• Download the Registration Form and complete it.
• Download the Waiver of Liability, read it, and sign it.
• Write your check payable to Dog Park Mount Joy.  It’s $50 for the first dog and $25 each for additional dogs.
• Mail the completed Registration Form, Liability Waiver, and your check to Lynn McCleary, 235 Blossom Trail, Mount Joy, PA 17552.

What Happens Next

Over the following two weeks, your information will be reviewed by members of the committee. They’ll be reviewing the dog health information forms and the information you provided for completeness and to ensure everything is current. Upon approval, you will be notified by email. You’ll receive your park swipe card by postal mail or a member of the team will drop it off for you. The park swipe card opens the electronic gates to the dog areas.
